Walk the marked approach to views of the glacier and its retreat markers. The visitor trail does not make unguided glacier travel safe.

Follow Glacier Road opposite the Discovery Centre to the designated unpaved parking. Do not confuse this with tour check-in parking.

Allow daylight and warm layers; check road/trail status before the approach.
